Founded in 2008, Manchester Entrepreneurs was set up to create and educate a community of future business and society leaders. Today, the community has flourished and comprises over 4500 members, being one of the largest student societies in the UK.

Our mission is to support students through a combination of advice, network and funding.

We provide our members with access to information, mentors and funds by working very closely with the Manchester enterprise community and Manchester Universities. We organize a wide range of events such as speaker series and workshops focused on developing valuable business skills and giving our members opportunity to gain practical experience. We also host our annual What Next? Conference, one of the largest student conferences in the UK. In 2014 we have successfully launched a pre-investment micro-accelerator called Accelerate ME to foster, accelerate and promote the very best student businesses produced at Universities in Manchester.

Manchester Entrepreneurs have shown the ability to design and deliver an amazingly diverse programme of activity for their members. They’ve contributed to the personal development of many students along the way and are a fantastic example of this new generation of entrepreneurial students.
Richard Kuti, Ex-Head of Network for NACUE
Manchester entrepreneurs becoming the NACUE University Society of the Year in 2013 is testimony not only to the great marketing work of this years’ crop of new talent but of four years hard work which finally has been noticed. What other society has had such a viral marketing campaign? With 800,000 YouTube views and counting. Truly impressive.
